▣ Where the business stands
One real piece of good news, one correction to make loudly, and the commercial lines still flat
Saturday: 6 sessions, 4 social, 0 add-to-carts, 0 orders, $0 revenue, $0 ad spend. Gmail swept — no order mail, so zero Sales_Tracker rows were due and the Single Tracker Rule is satisfied without a write. Paid drought reached 24 days; no order of any kind in 12. The correction: Friday’s “reels don’t work, plan against 1.7/day” was premature — Reel 6 produced a 4× jump in social sessions and the four-day rate is 3.0/day. The consequence of that correction is uncomfortable: if traffic responds to content, then traffic was never the whole story, and 0 add-to-carts across 108 sessions is now the number that matters most. Today is Sunday — the weekly one-page PDF is generated by its own task, not this one. The Week of Aug 17 reel plan already exists on disk, so next week is not a blocker.
★ #1 · today, before 11:00 AM · 30 seconds · free
Paste the UTM before Reel 7. You now have evidence the format works and still no instrument to measure it with.
Reel 7 “Honey Never Expires. So Why the Date?” posts at 11:00 AM — relaxed Sunday-trivia energy, Brand SKU, the most shareable fact in the whole week. The string is pre-written: ?utm_source=instagram&utm_medium=reel&utm_campaign=honey-never-expires-aug26&utm_content=brand-bestby. Why this is still #1 after five refreshes of saying so: the board checked directly this morning rather than inferring — GROUP BY utm_campaign over seven days returns 39 sessions and exactly one row: the empty string. Not a single tagged session exists. Saturday’s clean social read was luck, not instrumentation — Instagram happened to pass a referrer. What changes today: for the first time you have a reel that demonstrably moved traffic, which means the next tagged reel produces a number you can actually compare against something. The caveat stays honest: at 3 sessions/day one tagged reel returns single digits, too few to conclude much alone — but tagging compounds and attribution cannot be collected retroactively.

31 influencer rows, still zero contacted, and Sunday morning is the single best send window of the week for run clubs.
Influencer_Tracker holds 31 rows, every one “Not Contacted” since April — this is the fourth month. Scripts written, codes assigned (MRC15, BRC15, SBRC15, CFMIA10), targets on-audience: @brickellrunclub ~58K, @miamirunclub ~17K, @run.miami ~17K, @southbeachrunclub ~12K. Pair with the standing offer: booth at one run, sachets for the first 100, roughly $50/event — never promise pouches at $8.53 COGS. Why now specifically: Sunday long-run mornings are when these accounts post and check DMs, and you are inside that window right now. Why it holds at #2 even after Saturday’s good news: Reel 6 bought 4 social sessions from an audience of ~151. The four run clubs above total roughly 104,000 followers. Organic reels move the denominator by single digits; borrowed audiences move it by orders of magnitude, and they have been one message away since April.
#3 · new priority today · 45 min
0 add-to-carts across 108 sessions is now the binding constraint. Saturday made that true — go read your own product page.
The logic changed yesterday. While traffic sat at 1–2/day, “nobody adds to cart” was unfalsifiable — no denominator. Saturday proved you can move traffic, which promotes the conversion question from noise to the main event. What the funnel actually says: 108 sessions, 0 add-to-carts, 3 that reached checkout without a cart event (the free-sample link bypassing cart by design), 0 completed. The instrumentation question is closed — the cart tag fired in 5 of the last 6 months, so this is behaviour, not tracking. Concrete 45 minutes: open honeychargefuel.com on your phone as a stranger would, land on the Original page, and time how long it takes to find price, what it is, why honey, and the Add to Cart button without scrolling past the fold. The comparison that stings: 25 free samples lifetime, one sample→paid conversion (Nate Shaffer). People will take the product; they will not add it to a cart. Those are different problems and only the second one is fixable this week.

Comparing fixed calendar weeks rather than a rolling window, per the standing rule: 17 → 47 was a real 2.8×, then 8/12–8/15 closed at 1, 2, 3 and 6. Friday’s board called that shape “fully decayed, 1.7/day.” Four days in, it reads differently: 3.0/day and rising, with Saturday the strongest single day since the spike. Two corrections worth stating plainly. One — 8/14 revised up from 2 to 3 as late sessions landed, which is exactly why the standing rule says never to call a trend off a partial day. Two — the “below the pre-spike week” claim no longer holds: 3.0/day beats the 7/29–8/4 week’s 2.4/day. Today reads 0 sessions at 7:10 AM — that is a partial-day read and is excluded from every rate above, per the standing rule. IG follower count not retrievable (no Instagram MCP); carried at ~151, unverified since 5/11.
📡
Social Sessions · Daily, 14 Days
Reel 6 = 4× jump
This is the chart that reverses Friday’s conclusion. Social sessions by day: the 8/10–8/11 spike ran 3 and 3 alongside Reels 1 and 2; Reels 3, 4 and 5 produced 1, 1 and 0, which is what Friday saw and reasonably called a collapse. Reel 6 on Saturday produced 4 — more than any single day in the window, including the spike. Read it carefully, because n is small. Four sessions is four people, and one reel is not a pattern. But the comparison is like-for-like — same account, same audience, same posting mechanism, one variable changed — and a 0→4 move on the day a reel posts is the cleanest signal this board has produced in two weeks. The structural caveat that has not moved: 0 of 39 sessions in the last seven days carry a UTM. Social attribution here is Instagram volunteering a referrer, not you measuring anything. Saturday worked and you still cannot prove why — which is precisely the argument for tagging Reel 7 at 11 AM.

Completed
Escalated from YELLOW to RED this morning, and the reason is Saturday rather than any change in these numbers. While traffic ran 1–2/day, zero carts was unfalsifiable — there was no denominator to convert. Saturday demonstrated the denominator can be moved, which makes the conversion step the thing standing between content and revenue. The two structural caveats still apply and both cut in the store’s favour. One — the denominator undercounts: on 7/23 the sessions table recorded 0 sessions while the sales table recorded 2 paid orders totalling $68.40, so 108 is a floor, not a measurement. Two — the “completed checkout” zero is not what it looks like: three orders shipped inside this window (#1057, #1058, #1059) and none appear here. The 3 “reached checkout” sessions remain the tell — visitors reached checkout without ever adding to cart, which is the free-sample link bypassing the cart by design. Checkout itself is known-good. What is not explained away: 108 sessions, not one cart, and a working cart tag. That is a page problem.

Instagram Reel · 29 sec · 9:16 · hands-only · Brand · no single SKU
“Archaeologists have found three-thousand-year-old honey in Egyptian tombs. Still edible. So why is there a best-by date on your pouch?”
The week’s most shareable reel, and the one most likely to travel beyond your ~151 followers. The hook is the single best-known honey fact there is, and the payoff is an honesty play: the best-by date on a HoneyCharge pouch is for the whey protein isolate, not the honey — protein quality drifts after about a year even inside foil, while the honey fraction has no expiration mechanism at all (~17% water, pH ~3.9, trace hydrogen peroxide). Admitting which ingredient ages is the same move that carried June’s Added-Sugar reel, the brand’s best screenshot-rate post. 11 AM Sunday is relaxed-scroll trivia time, deliberately different from Saturday’s 9 AM long-run slot. Two things before you post. One: paste the UTM?utm_source=instagram&utm_medium=reel&utm_campaign=honey-never-expires-aug26&utm_content=brand-bestby — because Reel 6 went out untagged and you are one reel away from the week ending with zero measurable attribution. Two: this is a Brand reel with no SKU to buy, so judge it on saves and shares, not sessions. Brand lock holds: viscous amber honey, light oak, gold #DAA520, hands only, no faces. No orders yesterday or overnight. list-orders returns 9 total, newest #1059, unchanged since 8/4 — twelve days without an order of any kind. Gmail was swept across both senders and returned no order mail, so zero Sales_Tracker rows were due and the Single Tracker Rule is satisfied without a write. Dan’s T+15 window closed two days ago unverified — the board cannot see sent mail. The honest recommendation is to retire the T+15 play rather than carry it to a twelfth refresh; it has produced exactly one conversion (Nate Shaffer) in the store’s history. David James (#1059) is now T+12 and reads as a creator seed — his discount is literally named “UGC content” — so ask for the content, not a reorder. Use NEXTTIME10. 30-day picture: $145.96 gross, $77.56 discounted away, $68.40 net — 53% of everything sold in a month was given away. Lifetime: 25 free samples, one sample→paid conversion. July’s 5 paid orders averaged $40.66.

The mix says something the revenue line hides: this store has two products that sell and two that do not. Original and Ignite are close to even — 16 and 13 orders, $559.84 and $493.87 — which is a genuinely useful finding, because it means caffeine is not the differentiator you might assume. Buyers split roughly half and half, so neither SKU should be deprioritised in content and the Bundle’s “try both” logic is sound in principle. In practice the Bundle has never sold at price: one lifetime order, 100% discounted to $0, so $64.99 remains completely untested. Saturday’s Reel 6 was the Bundle’s first real marketing push and produced traffic but no cart. The sample line is the uncomfortable one: 25 orders, $69.86 gross, and that revenue is shipping, not product. Twenty-five people took a free sample and exactly one came back to pay. A 4% sample→paid rate on n=25 is thin evidence, but it is the only evidence there is, and it argues the sample funnel is a cost centre until the follow-up sequence is proven.

Cumulative profit$86.83$86.83 ✓ reconciles
Yesterday closed at $0.00 — no revenue, no COGS, no ad spend — so cumulative profit stays $86.83 and reconciles against the Dashboard sheet. It reconciles only because nothing has moved it since 4/15, which is agreement by stalemate rather than by accuracy. The top two rows are the real story: Shopify shows $1,188.56 gross across 61 lifetime orders; the tracker shows $128.44 across 7 rows. That gap is the entire #1008–#1059 backlog — 52 orders — never pasted, and everything computed downstream is wrong: the Dashboard’s “ROAS 1.71” is derived, not measured, and the Inventory tab’s four green “OK” flags run off 11 units sold when the real figure is far higher — treat them as unverified, not reassuring. Tracker state otherwise: Daily_KPIs scaffolds empty rows to 7/2 then stops, ROI_Tracker ends 4/19, Content_Calendar ends 6/2, Influencer_Tracker 31 rows all “Not Contacted”. No sheet write attempted — the Drive MCP exposes no cell-update method, and with zero new orders no rows were due, so per the Single Tracker Rule nothing was copied or forked. Staged CSV: /Desktop/HoneyCharge/data/2026-08-12_sales_tracker_append_1008-1059.csv, needs a human paste.

Sun Aug 16, 7:10 AM — Saturday closed at 6 sessions, 4 of them social — the highest social day and highest social share on record. Reel 6 produced 4 social sessions against 1, 1 and 0 for Reels 3–5, which reverses Friday evening’s “reels don’t work, plan against 1.7/day” call. Four closed days since the spike now run 3.0/day. But a direct UTM check returns 39 sessions over 7 days with zero campaign tags — Reel 6 went out untagged, so Saturday’s clean read was Instagram’s referrer, not instrumentation. Reel 7 posts at 11:00 AM today; the string takes thirty seconds.
